One of Orange County’s most influential taxpayer advocacy groups rallies behind Senator Moorlach’s re-election effort
Orange, CA – State Senator and former Orange County Supervisor and Treasurer Tax Collector John Moorlach has earned the endorsement of the Orange County Taxpayers Association’s OCTaxPAC in his 2016 bid for re-election to his first full term in the 37th Senate District.
Senator Moorlach was elected to the California State Senate in a March 2015 special election to fill the seat vacated by Senator Mimi Walters, who was elected to Congress in 2014.
State Senator Moorlach fights for a better state budget
“John Moorlach has been a strong leader in the fight for smaller, more efficient, and more taxpayer friendly government,” said Carolyn Cavecche, CEO and President of the Orange County Taxpayers Association. “In just a few short months, John Moorlach has already played a major role on blocking higher taxes and fighting for a more fiscally sound state government. We need him fighting for Orange County taxpayers, and that’s why we’re proud to endorse him for re-election to the State Senate.”
“I deeply appreciate the support from the OCTaxPAC,” said Senator Moorlach. “I look forward to working closely with them as we bring a greater focus on protecting taxpayers and improving California’s economic competitiveness.”
